Well, the days are shorter and the nights are longer now that autumn is upon us… which is the PERFECT reason to spend your night with Poppy Cafe tomorrow!

Located at 919 Granville (Joe’s Apartment), Poppy Cafe is once again featuring a night of unforgettable music, guaranteed to put smiles on their audience’s faces.

Starting the night off is singer/songwriter Sam Bradley who just recently completed yet another incredibly successful tour alongside Jenny Owens Young and Hank and Cupcakes. His sound is ethereal yet strong, with the breeziness of folk and the conviction of country melded into something which longtime listeners will tell you, “you just have to hear live”. Joining Bradley is Lee Lindsey, who also happens to be the founder of Poppy Cafe. Her sweet and sultry country sound is truly a joy to hear live, and her infectious smile lights up a room. Writing legend Ron Irving will also be gracing the Poppy stage. With a sound that’s Cat Stevens mixed with John Denver, Irving’s soothing music and powerful lyrics keep listeners drawn to his every note.

Shelby Noble, a gem in the Canadian music industry, and BC sweetheart will team up with multi-talented Luke Isaac. Noble’s pure and fierce voice has won over crowds at such events as Merritt Mountain Music Festival and Luke Isaac’s success writing jingles, producing albums, and writing music for television is only overshadowed by his incredible vocal talent that eases it’s way into your ears like it’s always belonged there.

And last but certainly not least, Bobbi Smith with her country darlin’ voice is anything but girly, as she solidifies herself as a country powerhouse (who sounds like an ideal blend of Loretta Lynn and Terri Clark). Accompanying her are the witty and gritty The Johnson Brothers whose song matter and style bring country back to it’s true roots of life lessons learned and heartache.
