In the crowded movie marketplace, some of the smaller movies get lost in the shuffle. The fact that some of these movies even get to your local cinema is almost a miracle, as financing and distribution is very hard to come by for the independent producer. Hollywood studios go for the sure thing, like Transformers 3 or Saw 5. If they don’t have a guaranteed audience, they almost assuredly won’t make the movie…It all boils down to this: “if we come, they will make them”.
